Collection: KHANUM (2023)

The Khanum collection is the very first ByLéaSfeir creation—its symbolic cornerstone, embodying the origins of the brand. 

Inspired by some of the world’s most breathtaking mosques, it pays tribute to an architectural masterpiece often regarded as the greatest and oldest of them all: the Bibi Khanum Mosque in Uzbekistan.

As ByLéaSfeir was conceived and brought to life in the UAE, I felt an innate desire to honor this region. At the same time, while preparing for an upcoming journey to Uzbekistan, we delved into a book showcasing the most exquisite mosques around the world. This became the spark that shaped the collection.

Every piece in ByLéaSfeir’s inaugural collection echoes the mesmerizing mosaics, colors, and architectural forms found in the most iconic mosques—from Persia to Uzbekistan, India to Turkey, and Pakistan. A celebration of heritage and craftsmanship, Khanum is a tribute to the artistry and grandeur of Islamic architecture, reinterpreted through the delicate lens of the art of the table.
